Project: UBA Bouw B.V.
It was beautiful weather on Monday, April 18 when I went to Amsterdam for a visit to Paul and Sander on the UBA project. One of the first parts we see is a long building, the A10 block, whose official name is "The Tribune" for its unobstructed view of the football. The building comprises approximately 205 students and 110 residential care homes, a restaurant, and facilities including a climbing gym and a garage. Phase one was completed in terms of size.
Paul says: "Three years ago we came here first. We started with the first phase, which we include 500 piles, foundation, foundation shafts for the floors and columns, and expand the full dimensions of the tunnels and the garage did. Short, all dimensions and all 14 floors."
Climbing hall
The three of us walk through the parking to the 21 meters high climbing center. Paul explains that they have surveyed this steel construction. Paul is visibly proud of the work he has performed with several assistants. He suggests that they cooperate well with the structural team. Also I notice during my visit that the atmosphere is good. Independently they go to work. Paul: "If you work so long at a project, you know what needs to be done".

We continue to court the second stage C. These are 154 homes. With the elevator to the roof for the view. All security measures are fine. Perpendicular to the first phase of apartments and houses built here. Paul "Everything we do is needed for measurements. Again we started to survey the poles, then the foundation and the full dimensions of the tunnels and meter gauge. We also have here a total of approximately 1000 holes off the wall construction. "

phase 3
Phase three, this is actually a copy of phase 2, the floor area and will probably be completed by the end of this year, the structural work completed. During the project, visit the tunnels, I can see how the apartments are made.

For our surveyors is particularly interesting to do the entire project. After the invisible dimensions come into their own in a beautiful end result.
