Civil Engineering
Surveying civil engineering works
Any structure must be built on the right spot and have the right dimensions. Moreover, prefabricated elements used in the structure have to fit perfectly, so that no costly repairs or adjustments will be required during construction.
Monitoring the area
The area in which the builder is working must remain intact. If a project is monitored from the start, changes in the surrounding area can be detected at an early stage and dealt with on time. In this way, risks can be minimised. Potential risks may include:
- above and underground deformations,
- settling,
- cracking,
- changing water levels.
Contract monitoring
The sizes and dimensions listed in the specifications of a project can relate to the shape and positioning of a structure to be built. But the specifications can also involve the (deductible) amounts required to carry out the work. Both the client and the contractor or subcontractor need to know exactly how much material has been used. In carrying out such measurements, Passe-Partout acts as an independent third-party.
What can we do for you?
- Surveying / setting out;
- Deformation surveys;
- Monitoring;
- Revisions / inspection surveys;
- Crack surveys;
- Grounding measurements (GPS / tachymetric);
- DTM (Digital Terrain Models).
